The Missional Wisdom Foundation was founded on the island of Iona, Scotland, UK, when co-founders Larry Duggins and Elaine Heath were on pilgrimage together. Pilgrimage is an intentional journey from the pilgrim’s context to a place of religious significance to promote spiritual growth or transformation.

The MWF is pleased to announce the 2024 Pilgrimage to Iona, Scotland, UK in June of 2024. Please act soon as spaces are limited. Once the trip fills, we will maintain a waiting list on a first come, first served basis.
The Iona pilgrimage is $3,800 per pilgrim including airfare, breakfast & dinner, and lodging. A non-refundable deposit of $1800 is required to lock in your place by January 31, with the balance of $2,000 due on March 1. After March 1, participation may be possible on a space available basis.
Observing Grief
Domestic Pilgrimage opportunity in Western North Carolina

The Missional Wisdom Foundation invites you to a two day contemplative observation of grief and loss. Participants will encounter life's difficulties in a liturgical space, and, through spiritual practice, observation, and prayer, nurture healing and hope.
